Stinging while urinating and white spots appearing on my penis, really worried I have an STI

Posted , 4 users are following.

The white spots started appearing yesterday, one day after I last had unprotected sex with my girlfriend who i've been seeing for 5 months. They are quite sore to touch. I went to the doctor yesterday and i was prescribed antibiotics for a bladder infection as it stings when i urinate. I've been looking online and i can't find spots that look similar to the ones i'm getting. I'm getting quite worried now and would really appreciate any help.image

Thanks for your response. At the STI clinic they say to wait two weeks before being tested to prevent a false negative is that true?

Can it be herpes if none of the spots have burst and become sores still?

the spots don't feel firm they feel like blisters and they're quite sore to touch does that make sense?

molluscum can also feel sore to touch also has a dimple in the middle of them and oftern eferred to as water warts herpes isnt dimpled i think needs to be looked at by your doctor to comfirm which it is if they think its herpes they will do a swab which is the most reliable test rather than a blood test but ud need to have them swabbed asap because if its hepes and they pop open and dry up ud have to wait to do a blood test if its molluscum there are treatments for

u should try avoid touching the area as much as possible as weather its herpes or molluscum its easily spread via skin to skin contact so u can spread to your fingers etc the fluid inside them is wat spreads them avoid scratching
