Stitch pain in different places of the stomach

I keep feeling a stitch like pain all over my stomach, sometimes it’s the top of my stomach on the right side just under my ribs, or sometimes the left or both at the same time, sometimes the side of my stomach, or it even feels like it’s towards my back aswell. Sometimes it can feel sharp like when you have a really bad stitch. It doesn’t happen just when I’m active, I could wake up in the morning and feel it when I’m lying in bed, it’s just very bizarre, it happens on and off throughout the day. It’s not really painful, I can bare with it, just uncomfortable. What could be causing it?

    Hi Zoeif you where a swimmer or did weights then that could possibly cause it, to be honest the best thing you can do is go see your GP and get checked out as it's obviously worrying you which is not good because that in itself can make you focus on it which could be making it appear worse, see your GP and come back and let us know what he found
