Have you investigated the interaction of medications via Mediguard .In my case when stopped the statin pins & needles [side effect]  disappeared never to be seen again .

Hi Julie, thanks for your response I don't really take much medication I've just been prescribed naproxen for joint pain, (2 days)  and take sometimes paraceotomol for headaches but apart from that only supplements.

If I had a stitch pain would want a grumbling appendix ruled out as can be fatal if not carefully monitored.

Hi Julie, thanks for your response, nobody has ever mentioned grumbling appendix out of all of the consultants I've seen.? I'm just annoyed nobody has ever mentioned a scan to me to make sure what is going on inside, I have another referral coming to another part of Dorset, so I think I will get that me done and see what happens there,  it's just frustrating as this has been going on for years but asking them for a scan is just too much! I feel I am due some help as like many of us we have paid our taxes. Thanks Julie

Hi Cathy l would recomend you read a post by " heal yourself " l had the self same problem for 10/11 years had all the same tests with no joy. Until l was told by "heal your self" that my problem was sugar and my fatty liver. If you think this could apply to you read his thread. Hope you get sorted.

Hi. Susan, thanks for your reply! Yes I think indo hav a fatty liver as my blood results (as my. Doc sed a little high)! But not enough for her to be unduly worried? Do you think it's worth trying to get a ct scan ? Where all organs are viewed better?  Internally?  Thank you, so frustrating as I hav had this since my late 20s could I ask what tests you had? Did they get to the bottom of it ever?  Is heal yourself on here and has this made the stitch go away please? If you would rather email I can give you mine?  Thanks Cathy xx

Hi Cathy.lhave had ultra sound, ct scan, mri, acupuncture. l have seen doctors that specialise in gall bladder, had had my veins injected with fluid to high light my gall bladder, had both ends invaded by tubes, they did find an ulcer a few years ago. That was put down to pain killers l was swallowing like sweets. The private secter has spent thousands on me as has the nhs. All the nhs could come up with was pain management!!!!! l have spent years in pain with no results. The last specialist when asked if a fatty liver could cause pain said no it does,nt cause pain.So for give me if a feel sceptical where doctors are concerned. They know a lot about a lot but do,nt know every thing.Heal your self is on this thread you just need to scroll down Stitch in right side. After reading his blog l thought l would try it as every thing else was a waist of time.l have had the pain for 10/11 years and over all that time the doctors consistantly told me l had a fatty liver, not to worry about it as 50% of people have one.Any way l do not now have sugar/honey mango as believe it or not that can really hurt. No cakes, biscuits, l have changed my sweet tooth to one that now likes savory things.l take a liver tonic twice a day to help repair my fatty liver,Milk thistle for inflamation and a probiotic to help my liver with digestion.Basically every thing Heal your self recomended.l can honestly say after all those years of pain and bloating my life has turned around. The results could be felt within a few days. Brilliant !!!l l think you have nothing to lose by trying cutting out sugar just remember to read the sugar content before you eat it.Fat free yogourts can have at least 4 teaspoons of sugar in each pot.By all means continue to go to the doctors if you need to but but eliminating sugar can be done inbeteen doctors appointments. Best of luck.

Thanks Susan, I do take milk thistle daily and do have sweetners in tea, I do eat biscuits and cakes and drink alcohol but all of these have cut right down recently, I will definitely go to heal yourself, and try very hard to cut out the sugar, I'm so glad you have found some light at the end of the long tunnel, thanks again I will keep you in the loop of anything else that happens, thanks again xxx
