Stitches removed

Me again!!! Had my op one week ago today. Had ditches removed today where drain was. I now have quite a gaping wound that's bleeding a bit. Should she have put a dressing of some sort on it. She didn't even know if my other stitches were dissolvable so she's left them in!!! Help

    Yep mine only had a tiny bit of bleeding and they put steri strips on the offending area and a new dressing. My stitches are definitely disolvable.

    Who did it? Will they be coming back?

      Thanks Sue. I had to go to GP surgery today and practice nurse did it

    Oh dear - if the wound is bleeding I would expect a dressing on it - you need to be careful of infection.  If you have a plaster large enough, I would say use that, until the bleeding stops.  I would suggest that you check if the stitches need to be taken out - go to your GP.  The nurse should have sorted this for you. Oops, just seen your other post 😯glad you got sorted.
