    Hi Rachelle

I have no experience living with a stomach, but just wanted to say a huge congratulations. I'm sure someone will come along who knows what they're talking about, your local Bowel specialist nurse will be invaluable support and your midwife should ensure that they coordinate your care. Good luck x c

Hi - I'm on the waiting list to make the Stoma permanent and have what's left removed. I feel in pretty good shape but inevitably anxious about another operation which should be before March. I'll start to hassle next week.

Well that's great news it's only natural to feel like that I am totally the same about the next op which won't be for sometime but still it plays on my mind just think how much stronger you are this time round so recovery will be a lot faster.

I wish you all the best and hope all is successful do keep in touch and let me know how you get on take care ..

Good news, so pleased for you. I am sure your stoma nurse will have some good experience and advice. Have you been on the Crohns and colitis UK facebook pages? Some useful things on there.

Thank you sheila91262 hope you and your family are well how is your son doing ?

I have tried to look on other websites but not as much info as I hoped but I spoke with my stoma nurse and she has been helpful and another lady who has a permanent one with 2 kids just hear lots can happen and it can prolapse etc 🙈😊 I will have a look though much appreciated x

Rob still doing very well, thanks, feel lucky that he is so healthy and active. His j pouch is symptom free, will always keep fingers crossed though. As I probably mentioned before, DVT, blood clots, are 3x more likely for IBD sufferers so be aware of the signs. Hope all proceeds smoothly.

      Sheila.
