I'll soon be getting my Stoma back again after meds have failed to control my UC.

Whats people experiences of stoma wraps/supports to help support and hold in place? Any good???

Thanks,

John

I use coloplast products which work for me just stick on and use a mouldable ring around the stoma to keep in place and supported, if I'm out there are these sticky tape things like banana shape that go round the bag for extra support that may help you as for the bands I wear just normal support underwear however the hospital stoma nurse should give you options for the belts you can wear.

Thanks, worth looking into. The mouldable rings weren't about (or I werent't aware of them) last time.

I don't think everyone uses then my stoma was pretty big after surgery around the 55mm

Now reduced to 35/30 Mm so much smaller but still a decent size which that's ok as it works well and that's what u want !! So I still use them every day prevents leaks as the bag sticks to the mouldable ring (it's like putty that u wrap around your stoma ) then on to your skin.
