Stomach & Abdominal pain, Acid Reflux?

Hi all,
For a long time I have suffered from nausea after eating, however recently I have had severe pain in my stomach day and night it's like burning? With that, every time I eat I can only take a few bits before i am full and then it feels like what I do eat just lies in my stomach. This combined with the nausea is living hell!
I also have crampy pain in my abdomen with all the other symptoms too! Could this be reflux and the symptoms?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Dear Lauren,
Suggest going to a Gastroenterologist to have your symptoms assessed. Indeed an Endoscopy examination sounds like it is needed. Don't change your diet beforehand like eliminating gluten as if you do you will get a false negative test for Coeliac Disease- your symptoms sound similar to what my husband's were before being diagnosed with CD. Hopefully you get to the "bottom" of things and find out what is going on. Good luck!

Hi, Lauren: I have the very same thing, it seems, and I was rused to the ER what felt like a heart attack. I began to eat a bite of a sandwich and the pain starting under my left rib cage. It was horrible. I had tests done and they found a huge hiatal hernia. They can't do anything about it because I also have sciolosis and have lost five inches of height. All of my organs are too close together to operate, but I do take a good medicine to relax that spasm. When I eat anything, I can only eat three bites before I am so full that I feel I've eaten an eight course dinner. I'm bloated most of the time and still take Prilosec each morning and several antacids during the day, along with the relaxation pill...You should see your doctor and check for a hiatal hernia, sweetie...they can be very painful. If you are young and in good shape they may just be able to repair the damage....Hope this helps...xxoo
