Stomach ache and burning

Hi,

Does anyone suffer a burning stomach in the morning, I've been suffering for several weeks now. I wake up and feel fine but as soon as I move the burning starts. It usually last a couple of hours then passes.

This happens everyday. I have been tested for HPylori and this was negative.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

My diet isn't the best but not the worst either, I've been suffering with chronic diaherra over the last few weeks aswell, I cannot remember the last time I had a proper bowel movement.

It's all a bit crazy at the moment and started with the burning in my stomach which is still the same with no improvement even though I'm eating less and taking omperazole. My flare up is getting worse and not better.

I do have IBS as well. This flare up though, either IBS, Gastritis, Gastorentiritis or whatever it may be is putting me in a bad place at the moment. The burning stomach in the morning is what I have come to live with, but like Ive already said my symptoms are chnging for the worse and not better. Constant diahrea, nausea, dizziness, shakying in my body, no energy. My Doctor says Gastorentiritis and Im waiting results of a stool sample. TBH my doctor did not seem interested when I spoke with him. My condition has got so bad that I am off work with it.

If Im sat at home and not doing anything I feel fine, all my symptoms only begin when I start moving around and doing basic stuff like walking standing etc. It feels like someone has stuck a syringe in my body and sucked all my energy out. I am physically and mentally drained with it all and this as been persistent for 3 full weeks without a day off from it.

I can totally relate to you, I'm just getting over what your going through, it took me 6 weeks, but mine was diverticulitis which the colonoscopy found, you need more tests and you will have to get your doctor to listen good luck and remember the only way is up

I ended up in a&e 2 weeks ago with that stabbing pain, I got kept in and put on intravenous anti biotics, I now take emasoparole, gaviscon and pro biotic drinks Yakut. My tummy has been bad since food poisoning years ago, it was flared up by the diverticulitis. If your pain is bad then I suggest you do the same, you may have an infection, at the very least an appointment with your doctor first thing, and don't leave until he realises how desperate you are. Good luck, let us know how you get on

I am trying to get a cancellation app with my doctor, otherwise its next week at the earliest, its a terrible trying to get a Doctor appointment here in the UK.

I am not in agonising pain,  if it was I would go to A&E, the pain and discomfort is about 2inch above my belly button and spreads acoss my mid section. It is constant only when moving, standing walking etc. Sitting down and lying down I do not feel it, Plus I have all my other symptoms mentioned.

I couldn't get an appointment that's why I went to a&e and thank goodness I did. You will know yourself if you can't get an appointment whether you can wait or not

Hi. I have just started to get the same thing and find its if I eat onions or garlic. Don't get it every day of course. I have started the fodmap diet not completely got to get my head round it.

I have a lot of food intolerances and have just realised I have IBS.

That's good, at least you aware of how to treat and maintain your symptoms, it's worse if you don't know

My triggers seem to be anything and everything I eat or drink at the moment. How much weight did you all lose during a flare up?

    Hi All,

I went to see my GP today and he give me a full examination. He said heart, lungs, abdomen all fine.

He is sending me for more blood test (covering everything imagineable) another stool test and a urine test. I wont be able to get those done until next Tuesday.

In the meantime im in the same situation with pain discomfort loose stools etc etc etc. Never ending really.

Quite p..... off with it all to be honest, Im no better, yet no worse.

That's the way it gets you, you get really down when it's a prolonged complaint, and waiting for the doctors to give you some answers can make it even worse, however hang in there at least your half way there. You'll get there and this will soon be a distant memory honest! Hang in there! Good luck

So many of us been there, same position, pain fatigue, nausea, whatever thats gone on for months, and gps not able to diagnose and tests come back clear, a relief in one way, but when your still suffering it does get you down and p... you off. Took me a long time to get diagnoses for intersticial cystitus, problem if you get anything thats not common or well known symptoms to gp,s, At least your getting extensive blood tests done, it might bring up cause. have you seen gastrologist or had scope of digestive tract, many need to see a specialist to get right tests and diagnoses, l did, Ask gp to refer you, or if your able go private cut out long wait.  But good luck for Tues

and posative answers, Your in post gp dissapointment zone at present, just had email from a friend who saw gp today and didnt get answers to her symptoms, and she upset teary after, been there myself, But youll probably feel better tomorrow and hope tests on tues bring results.
