Stomach discomfort till afternoon

After I poop at the same time every morning (which takes about 20 mins), I come out with stomach discomfort such that I have not finished. But sitting for more time or going again does not help. My stomach would then be bloated more at the center. The discomfort continues till early evening post which it reduces. I have visited many doctors including gastroenterologists but did not help.
I have limited my lactose and wheat intake. By reducing the food intake at night has improved the condition a bit but not gone away. Any ideas / thoughts would be helpful.

Did you check for hpylori?
The infection causes the food intake done at night not to digest properly, and leftover gases that cause trouble throughout the next day. At night time it's not noticeable but day time you feel it more distracting.

It's not possible to know without a test. And simple breath-test will help you to know if you have hpylori. It's symptoms can be as simple as regular stomach upset after food to much more. So you cannot just know by tallying the symptoms with yours.

If you have gotten some relief by experimenting with your food intake you can take this further by seeing a certified dietitian or nutritionist who can give you a daily menu based on your condition.

If you have limited you lactose and wheat intake and your symptoms have improved that could mean that one of these food types is the cause of your problems. Rather than limit both of them, give up one for 2 weeks and have the other and see if your problems clear up. If they don't give the other one up and see if your problems clear up._

What tests have you had? Change your doctor and try a food diary in the meantime.

This sounds like something I've experienced. I feel like I have not completed my bowel properly even after I've done it. Dr diagnose IBS. If u feel better after reducing wheat, it might be ibs but its better u have a proper diagnosis from your GI specialist

At least 2 specialist told that it might be bcoz of stress which I have reduced now. The other advise given is to exercise which I have been trying but not possible everyday and drink lot of water.

Has anyone tried peppermint oil tablets? It is supposed to be good for reducing gas and overall digestion.
