Stomach flu and depressed.

Hello everyone so I've been sick badly since Sunday with the stomach flu from fever, to nausea, to diarrhea, to bad stomache pains, body aches, headaches, everything. Ever since probably Tuesday I've been feeling really depressed. Especially yesterday and today. I've been feeling so sad and I'm not sure why even to the point I start crying out of nowhere . Like every hour or something idk it's weird . But I wanted to see if anyone had been depressed while getting sick or something ? I'll appreciate the replies !

Are you on any medication? Maybe it isnt absorbing from your virus. The flu cant cause issues all by itself sometimes too. Maybe call you go and see what he thinks.

Ugh, that is awful. Had it last year in March all 5 in my family within hours of each other. When I'm sick like that, I get anxious, depressed, it's awful. Stay hydrated, small sips, ice chips, etc... Feel better soon, should be better any day!!!

Yea had to go to the ER yesterday got 3 bags of IV was super dehydrated apparently no matter how liquids I drank. Felt like I was passing out so I went . Today feeling a BIT better flu wise just exhausted and unmotivated and extremely depressed . At least I'm not the only one out there! Does the depression go with the virus or stays for a while ?
