Have you tried a food diary or the Low Fodmap Diet? Try an anti spasmodic like Buscopan and Imodium for diarrhoea.

Prilosec won't help with stomach cramps, back pain and bowel movement problems. Prilosec is for heartburn and indigestion. Antispasmodics, Imodium and a food diary/low Fodmap diet are better options for treating these IBS symptoms. Standard painkillers can also help with cramps.

    Hey Alexandra,

I know it is holiday season and we all are tempted to eat everything which we are offered or what we like to eat.

I would suggest you should try over the counter ranitidine (75mg) on empty stomach in the morning.

If your problem started with spicy foods, then that might be because of hyper acidity, and bloating, gurgling sounds and urge to pass stool immediately after eating may follow.

Drink lots of water and juices which will help you in your constipation and eat fibers.

Doing these things will help you to enjoy your holidays at fullest.
