i am 60 yrs old and going thru menopause for 10 plus years and fighting terrible stomach issues, gas, acid reflux, stomach hurting. Had colonoscopy and endoscopy in June of 2021. colonoscopy good and i have gastritis. I take protonix. Doesnt seem to help much. The anxiety gets bad at times and I get pretty depressed because i dont feel. Any other women suffering like this? Please help!!!

so sorry your going through Dolly. Currently i am going through stomach issues such as bloat , constipation, and stomach pains. Also a little nausea. I find that these symptoms come on during my monthly cycle which i am currently on, then will leave a week after my cycle ends. I ve learned over the yrs to deal with the rubbish of it all and ride through it. Some months are better than others i must admit. Try drinking ginger tea and take a good probiotic. Stay away from sugar and processed foods. And most of all know that you are not alone. We are all in the same boat ⛵ God bless 🙏

Hi Dolly, sorry to hear you're struggling. I decided to stop eating gluten, which helped my tummy symptoms a lot. I also find milk chocolate gives me awful acid reflux. I went to a local Meno clinic recently to get a well women check and my folic acid was low (probably due to giving up gluten) and my vit D was very low. My Meno nurse prescribed a multi vit which just contains, Vit D, B12, Magnesium and a probiotic for my gut. I also take a separate folic acid vit too. I've been on them for nearly 2 months and I do feel better. B12 does help with anxiety.

Do you keep a food diary, to see if anything inparticular triggers it for you? Try and avoid stress, be kind to yourself and take time out. I think we all feel guilty for taking a break and we shouldn't!

    Sending hugs. 🤗

Try chamomile tea. My daughter has gerd, nausea, and bloating from her scoliosis. She says the tea really helps. Plus it's also calming. Try it at night.
