Stomach pain

Hi for the past 4 to 5 years I have had intermittent stomach pains. They can last for a few hours to nearly a week. It hurts to touch near my belly button. Doctors can't seem to find the problem. I am having a liver ultrasound on Monday.  Any suggestions?

Yep, my suggestion would simply be, have the scan, get a firm diagnosis, come back and tell us what they have found and I'm sure you will have loads of good support and advice on how to deal with the results, problem at the moment is we don't have any fully trained medical staff on the forum to give you a diagnosis based on symptom's alone.

Your GP/Consultant will do this and we will be there to see you through any treatment you may need, but hopefully with those symptoms it will turn out to be something that's not too serious, good luck and G bless

I have had a pain near my belly button that comes and goes for a few years. However,it doesn't hurt to touch it.My ultrasound didn't show anything but a gastroscopy found I have a hiatus hernia and gastritis. I assume it's one of these causing my pain but yours may be different.
