Stomach pain and nausea on Sertraline

Posted , 3 users are following.

This is my second attempt with Sertraline.  The last time I took it I had terrible stomach pains for 3 whole weeks,  so I came off it and went onto something else.  The doctor has given it to me to try again.  Only on day 2 on 25mg and having stomach ache and nausea.  I'ts making me want to give up with it already.

Thank you.  I can cope with the stomach ache but not the nausea.  I have taken Pepti Bismol and Metoclopromide.  It doesn't settle it much.  It's also leaving me with a massive pain in the back of my head.  Second time round it seems to be worse.  I'm even wearing the anti sickness bands to see if that helps.  It seems to be worse in the morning.

I take mine in the morning, with about a pint of water and try and keep myself hydrated as get a really dry mouth with it.  Dunno if it'll help, but you never know!

I take mine in the morning too.  I find the nausea the worst side effect.
