Stomach pain anxiety?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I just woke up two hours later after falling asleep and immediately my stomach is in serious pain and I don't know why. I'm scared since this is the first time I wake up to a bad stomach pain and I'm thinking on whether to go to the ER. Is this mostly anxiety? I feel like I might vomit or die from it. Can anxiety give you random pain from your stomach? I find it hard to sleep now, since it's keeping me awake.

The pain is mostly in the middle of my stomach and it feels like a bad cramp. It calmed down a bit but I still feel the cramp but not as bad as when I woke up and felt how much my stomach felt like it was in serious pain. It's very irritating.. Not sure what can cause a random stomach pain like that.

i would try to remember what you ate that day. could be something you ate causing the pain. anxiety usually causes stomach discomfort, butterflies and possible diareha. maybe an ulcer? but the only way to find out for sure is to see your gp? i have never experience a sharp steady pain, mostly gas pain, and loose runny stools, a spastic colon, which makes you go potty often. are you a regular anxiety sufferer or are you new to it? if so, are you on meds ? any recent med changes? that too could be the cause of your pain. some anxiety meds you have to take with food or you end up with stomach problems. i hope that helps some. be safe
