Stomach pain for years

Could this be sign of a parasite or an indication of a condition? Doctors have been unsuccessful.

This residue remains in the toilet bowl.

I also have pain in the middle and left of the abdomen. It is very difficult to fall asleep due to the pain. The stomach is also swollen in those areas.

Can't tell a lot from your photo; it doesn't show anything striking. Your best option is to go back to your doctor and ask for more tests. Have you already seen a specialist and had an ultrasound or colonoscopy? Try seeing different doctors.

I have had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and stool labs and nothing came from any of them. Are there other diagnostic methods.

I should add that cipro was very effective in decreasing the pain and overall digestive malfunction. I was on it for about 2 weeks, however towards the tail end the effect of the medicine became almost nothing. That and the benefit I received from ivermectin led me to believe parasite could be a possibility.

Have you had an ultrasound done? Has your doctor suggested any diagnosis at all? Has IBS been mentioned? Does your pain move about? Do your bowel movements change from constipation to diarrhoea? Have you noticed if food or stress bring on the symptoms? Is the pain constant or does it come and go? Keep going back to your doctor.

I agree with pippa. You may need to see different doctors. , and have more testing done. You have to be insistent on that.

it’s important that you see a Gastro intestinal specialist. don’t ever give up on this . make sure you get a definite diagnosis. Take care of yourself
