Stomach pain, should I stop taking pain pills

I take like a pain pill a day I'm 2 weeks in post operation it helps easy the pain, but I don't like taking them this is the first time I have ever taken any prescription pain meds and first surgery. Any advice

    Everyone is different but if it was a laproscopic gallbladder surgery I'd be surprised if you still had pain that needed prescription grade pain meds 2 weeks after surgery. You could try not taking them and replacing with regular paracetamol if needed. And if pain is an issue check with your doctor.

      Yes the pain from surgery I agree not the problem it's the stomach pain so I have taking a pain pill to help with it . I stopped yesterday taking them I see surgeon tomorrow post OP schedule appointment.

    If they help you should take them till you are another week or so along or till you don't need them.

      Thanks I may do that after I talk to the surgeon tomorrow morning. I don't like taking them and this is my first time but until this stops or we figure it out with test I may need too.

    I also didn’t like taking the pain pills made me to out of it. I did the Motrin and Tylenol

      Thanks for the suggestion hopefully this bloating pain in the part of my stomach will slow down in time .
