Stomach pain upper abdomen. On Zoloft 50mg for 4 weeksks!

When I first started Zoloft (also taking Larazopam as need) I got severe nausea and diarrhea. My doctor had me take a 3 day "break" and then start it again which seemed to do the trick. However it's been 2 weeks and stomach pain has in increased in my middle upper abdomen (feels like a basball in my abdomen) and gas, burping and flatulence are at an all time high. Obviously I am completely panicked about this because I have anxiety about my health. I am seeing my doctor today. Anyone else experience this?

Hello. I have been going to the bathroom like every now and then after I tapered off Zoloft and my doctor did not mention any of these to me probably because I was already dealing with anxiety and the breakdown of side effects from her end of probably would have increased my anxiety. I'm on my 5th week off Zoloft and the side effects are now almost gone, no more brain zaps, headaches, sleeping cycle is normal now. Pls let me know whether anyone has successfully survived the perils of withdrawals from zoloft after tapering off from 8 months use

Hi
I'm experiencing the same. I started on 25mg then after 2 weeks I went up to 50mg. Well after the 2nd 50mg tablet I got a really bad tummy, bubbling, flatulance, burping etc. I get a bit of acid too when I burp, especially a few hours after iv taken the med. I take mine around 6:30 at night. The past 2 morning I have actually vomited. Although it's just clear. No food in it. Iv had to go back down to 25mg (started tonight) I'm really hoping that helps as the stomach ache, bubbling and burping is just too much.
I have anxiety centred around my health so it doesn't help at all x

Saw my doc Thursday. Been having some reflux along with stomach pain. May have to send me to a gastroenterologist he says. He isn't convinced it's the meds I say it is. I do not want to start over with something else because I don't want to risk go through this again. That being said the anxiety overall has gotten better. I too get nausea in the morning at times but my anxiety grows because as soon as I get it I think, oh God and am I about to drop dead? (Lol, its crazy but it's what happens.)
Health anxiety stinks. Hang in there.

My doc did say it can take up to 8-10 weeks for it to work for some so hang in there. I am on 50 mg going up to 75mg soon. How about you?

Yes I am in pain, gas, bubbling, not eating, bloated, . What medication are you taking to help this. Maybe our zoloft should be changed to something else. This isnt going away! How did you resolve this from 4 years ago?
