Hey Hun. I know exactly what your going through. I am 43 and been going through peri meno since 39 myself. Actually some of my first symptoms were issues with my stomach. Extremely bloated gassy acid reflux constipation then going to loose. Cant have dairy any longer no milk or ice cream ugh. I get heart palps as well hot flashes achy joints and muscles. That's what the worst thing is for me now. And it all ramps up right before my period. I have always been very active and now not as much. i put on 10 lbs which doesn't seem that bad but for my height and body shape it is. Just know your are not alone. There are plenty of us who are all going through the same. Feel free to reach out to me if you need to. Big hugs...xoxo

    Hi Kim,

I've got the same problem my peri started 3 years ago. Over a year ago I started having stomach problems. Digestive issues, bloating and severe acid reflux to the point it wiped me out. I take antiacids when it gets bad for about 2 weeks. I've had endoscopy and all clear apart from mild gastritis.

So I've been taking probiotics and aloe vera juice. I've changed my diet and stopped my gin and tonics too!

I also got tested for coleic and H Polyri too.

Maybe do a bowel test to check you haven't got H Polyri.

I hope this helps. I've got a list of perimenopause symptoms 😫

sorry kim, this sounds like the norm for some of us. yes the left arm thing i get a lot. i just knew it was a heart attack but they say my hearts fine. the bloating after eating ANYTHING just p*sses me off. so yes... ur not alone. im so sorry that anyone has to go threw this. i turned 52 yesterday an it seems some symptoms go but another 1 is just waiting to take its spot.

I'm going through a terrible bout of symptoms right now, one of the worst being an upset stomach. Running to the bathroom multiple times of day, abdominal pain, bloating when I eat even the most benign thing. But I have certainly had all that you describe.

hey....bless you I'm sending you the biggest hugs. I haven't taken anything as I'm too scared because of my damn stomach issues They say you take paracetamol but I'm taking a hot water bottle and try this aloe heat lotion by forever. I've had a good night sleep with it. Put it on before you go to bed as it smells strong but my god it does the trick!

Hi, just wanted to let you know I went through 18 months experiencing tailbone ache/pain. Some days I just had to go to bed cos I couldnt sit down. My doctor had no idea what it was. Then one day it went and never came back. I'm convinced its yet another peri symptom. Hang in there x

thank you so much for your reply....I've been googling it and its giving me anxiety 🙃 😫

I've put a hot water there and when I go to bed a natural heat lotion which helps me sleep. My legs ache and my feet have a burning sensation 😩

How long did it last for?

    • Edited

I had it almost every day for 18 months. Some days it wasnt too bad but I just wanted to know the cause of it. Like you I Googled and I did turn up an occasional mention of it on menopause sites (including this forum) but not many. Anyway, as my GP wasnt concerned about it I just put up with it. And one day I woke up and it had gone and touch wood hasnt come back. Hope you get some relief from it soon x

that's great! My armpit and arm is hurting a lot 😫 It happens everytime I'm about to start. I've had two breast appointments and all fine. They couldn't even tell me why I get this armpit pain!

Thank goodness tummy is good. I did a food intolerance test and have to keep away from avocado, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, flour and dark chocolate.

      Always here for you x

Hi,new here and came here looking for the same thing.. tailbone pain. ive had this now for about six months and then last few months became constipated, which have never had before and now all over the place digestive issues. Drs keep telling me tailbone pain and my digestive issues are separate but my digestive stuff seems connected . I have had blood tests and going for a colonoscopy soon just to make sure. Also did a stool test and all is good. After reading here i think maybe it is all meno doing this. Anyway the pain is less than it used to be . I was not able to sit down without pain a month ago.

So glad ive found this forum.

I hope you are feeling better.
