Stomach problems with Naltrexone?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've read some vague references to stomach problems with Naltrexone.  I'm experiencing a "kicked in the stomach" feeling, especially after an evening of moderate to heavy drinking.  Not at all like a hangover, but more like the flu. I only had one drink last night and stomach aches.  No bowel problems or other flu symptoms, it just hurts.

Interested if others have such side effects.

There are indeed stories of what's called the "Nal-over". Basically, there are no endorphins (or a lower level than usual) to cushion the next day effect of alcohol. I can't say I've read of someone reporting a result exactly like yours though, just nausea in general. This might fade in a few days or it might be something totally unrelated, I can't really say.
