Stomach Swollen and Bloated

I’m a 43 y/o female. Ive had GERD for years and recently had a clear endoscopy (with exception of some areas of slight inflammation) in May of this year. At the beginning of this month, I started getting indigestion terribly and it felt like my digestion slowed down to where I was still belching food in the late afternoon from something I ate for breakfast. Gross! I wouldn’t feel like eating, still felt full. Basically, this hasn’t let up much this month and my stomach feels “tender” to the touch. Anyone else get this with GERD?

I’ve also had GERD for years. I sometimes get what you’re describing.  Other times I get regurgitation of food...meaning that an hour or 2 after eating, I get food that starts to come back up my esophagus and then I get a pain/pressure in my lower esophagus and burp up food with it.   It’s a painful and terrible part of GERD.

I've never had my stomach tender to the touch so I'd prob get that checked out. The belching sounds like what is described as a lack of digestive acid/enzymes. Because of this your food is sitting in your stomach and effectively fermenting causing the gas etc. I'm about to try taking digestive enzyme supplements to see if it helps with my digestion, maybe these will help you?. I'm a gerd sufferer for around 15 years
