stomach upset on citalopram

Hi

I have been taking 10mg of citalopram every day for the past 2 and a half weeks. I have had some calmer days and some bad days, like today when i have felt really panicky. My stomach feels horrid most of the time, acidic and constantly rumbling. I'm nauseated and off food most days. I am really worried that this is not going to improve.

Did anyone else have these symptoms? Please tell me it will get better!

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

hi bronte, kim was spot on with gaviscon, it does help. I've been on 10mg of citalopram for 5 months now and feel back to my old self again. ( well 36 is old nowadays apparently) smile I posted on here the other night with bad stomach ache and indigestion, realised it was down to eatin too much rich food. Fellow poster melbi took great pleasure in laughin at me !! hee hee. Try and eat light, i know you may not feel like eatin much at the moment but you will get your appetite back. Take care x
