Stomache Pains Directly After Eating

Posted , 4 users are following.

For just 1 week now, everytime I eat I suffer with stomache pains after eating, and I am not sure what the problem is, but my concern is that if I don't eat at all the pain disappears after 2 hours, even if I have small doses of food.

Could be some acid indigestion, try some gaviscon before eating for a few days while it settles xx

Please forgive, I forgot to mention I have a Polyp (in gall bladder near liver) diagnosed 18 months ago, now with Back pain and Stomache Pains I think you can see where this is leading.

    Hi Stuart,

Are you sure its every time you eat..or every time you eat a certain food...I am always keen on keeping food diaries to make a note of what foods you have eaten when you get the pain.  It may be a case of abstaining from foods that

kick off pain in your digestive system i.e. your gall bladder.  Best wishes....

Thank you for the information, hopefully this will aid me better, though I wish I could say better for the food I have to omit out.

I would start with the diary and nit any changes when yoy eat. Start on probiotic and a digestive enzymes after

a couple of days with the diary. Dont drink cold water do room temperature as cold water reduces acid production which aids in digestion in the stomach.

Try it for at least a week with the diary. The enzymes and probiotics should be part of your life everday...go for it you have nothing to lose..but gain health.

You can eat probiotics in yogurt form , like activia . I eat different kinds if yogurt that has probiotic or you can take a probiotic in a pill. They all good. I also use acidolphilus chewable tablets strawberry .They are quite yummy and i take one each time i eat. I prefer natural enzymes like papaya fruit or tablets . You can find a health store and they have a lot they will recommend a good one fir you. Try to eat a little ginger in your food and a little garlic these are natural ways also to aid in your stomach digestion and also any gas and bloating that causes you pain.

Only 1 Problem (Lactose Intolerant), I have to find other ways to balance the problem through Natural Herbal Remedies, this is 1 of the reasons the Problems I have means cutting out some of the food if it makes me ill.  And at the moment this is making it extremely difficult balancing the Vitamin Intake (What I have been forced to cut out completely is All Bread Types due to Gluten/Wheat Intolerance due to IBS.  Obviously Due to Lactose Milk, Probiotics, and Most Enzymes which are based in Dairy Products.  For me I can only have Natural Foods Only (Non Spicy) or those with Fluids to stop dehydration.  Effectively meaning I have to Drink the Fluids I used in cooking with Herbs that Flavour the Water (like nettles, mint and so forth.

Thanks for that, but like I said, due to dairy free brands no longer existing, the things my body needs are being taken of the shelfs not put on.  What you are asking me is easier said than done, Its also a way to dictate what people can eat. This is why I am an Anti Government Campaigner, because I do not want to do what and EVIL government wants. THEY ARE COMMITTING TREASON.  WAKE UP

There are non dairy probiotics and papaya is a good enzyme and totally natural. I am wide awake and pain free because i choose to go the natural way also. I dont use yogurt i use acidophilus strawberry wafers as my probiotic so they are there and if i find them so can you. The powers of the internet makeslife a bit more bearable.

Thank you very much, did not realise there were other ways, though I have not seen them in any supermarket here in the Medway Towns. Unless of course they are sold in the health shops (which I only touch when 100% necessary).  Thanks none the less, hopefully I will be able to finally move on without anymore problems, Take Care and see you anon.

Also I use unsweatened almond milk and gluten free bread, berries and banana, rice, potato and can tolerate broccoli, carrots and green beans but no legumes and onion or garlic! Plain meats and fish and if course rice. Also coconut milk for curries x yoy are not alone but you can adapt. Look up low fodmap diet.
