Stone Analysis

Has anyone ever passed stones and the lab report came back unable to analyze? I have been dealing with issues for three years. All of the symptoms of kidney stones. Small dark fragments exiting in my urine then symptoms improve greatly for a short amount of time. CT scans show nothing. I finally passed a larger piece that was lighter and the analysis came back stating they were unable to identify the material. Doctors have no idea what to do and neither do I and I am so tired of dealing with the issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
