Stool Test Negative But I See Worms in Stool!

Posted , 208 users are following.

I'm almost certain I have worms, I just don't know what kind. So I've been having gastro symptoms for over 5 months now. Colonoscopy, blood work and ultrasound all came back normal. My first stool test came back negative 2 weeks ago. Symptoms include pressure/bloating in the belly, burning sensation/heat and diarrhea/constipation, etc. My doctor is pretty useless and isn't even curious to see my pix but here they are what do you guys think? At first I saw small oval off-white objects like rice grains which I suspected to be eggs. Then later on they turned into cone-like shapes with a little strand of hair on the end and darker in color but lately I've been seeing what I think are the actual worms with bigger and longer stringy bodies in my stool. I'm sorry these pix are quite disgusting but I just want to get some feedback. These are definitely parasites right?! imageimageimageimage

Thanks so much!

Tim

guys im having similar symtops (suspected worms in stool, unknown multiple cysts under my skin at my back/stomach, general sickness and headache , night sweat) and i was crazy checking all over the web. it looks very much a tapeworm infection that could possibly lead to a condition called 'Cysticercosis' if you/people around u accidentially digest these worm eggs. i had multiple stool/parasitic blood tests all came back negative but apparently they are all inaccurate since u do not always produce eggs/antibodies in stool/blood even if infected. i was asked to do a biospy (still waiting for the lab result) and going to have a brain MRi next week. im not 100% sure but tapeworm + cysticercosis could be a possibility of what u guys have described. i also feel very anxious coz there must be a reason behind my sickness/lumps. i frequently travlled to developing countries and could have caught it there.

Your photos and symptoms are exactly like mine. I am being seen at a major in London having suffered with this problem since March 2019, after a friend came to stay who had picked up a parasite/infection in Central America (El Salvador most likely). The hospital doesn't want to look at any photos and tell me that it's most unlikely but I have also had a recurrent cough and chronic diarrhoea although a homeopathic remedy has helped with that. Please can you let me know if you ever got a diagnosis as I really want to get better? Thank you

I just received a negative test result which blows my mind as I saw about 10 worms in the stool sample I submitted. And I have very similar photos to yours - if those are not worms then what the hell are they? image

Ive had the same thing for about 5 years. ive taken dog wormer wormwood walnut garlic pumpkin seeds. i ate nothing but cabbage and carrots for 2 weeks. it was difficult but i felt great afterwards and worked for about 2 yearsLately Ive been real sluggish and weak I reluctantly did an enema and at 1st it was pure white puffs of mucus slime . after clearing all of that out the strings started coming out like what you have in your photos. good luck. learn to accept it and manage it the best you can. doctors friends and family will not believe you and make you feel worse.

i foster bottle kittens & know i have tape/hookworms. Both tests came back negative. kittens still are teeming w worms. all tests came back negative. the testing is absurd unless you pool approx 7 samples together. I have pics, learned to identify eggs/worms on childs microscope. Both the vet & my Dr useless. I rarely get sick but when i do its always weird, so i'm used to dr's not listening & being my own doctor.

I ordered a bottle of Drontal (yes,

    its dog med...) OMG

I plan to dose myself & all pets every 4 weeks for 3 months. I feel nauseous, crave sugar, headaches & swear my eye sight has gotten fuzzy (could be i need glasses tho).

Similar story to mine and understand how frustrating this is, 2 infections disease specialist, 1 dermatologist, 3 different GP's and a liver and gastro specialist. Dermatologist appointment first and has these small skin ulcers back of neck, shoulder blades, shoulders forearms then hands. tested for predicting much everything incl 2 biopsies. Bought a microscope and analysed material identified from lesions. Biggest mistake was seeing the dermatologist first. He said it was all in my head and prescribed anti psychotic drugs, at the time there was one ulcer on each arm. From that point forward everyone I visited showed little interdf kettle every one I daw several months later I had 23 in total from 1cm to 2.5cm diameter. poop looked similar to you're photos and worse. under the microscope clearly were flukes/nematodes and tapeworm eggs from lesions and dwarf tape worms and pin worms in poop. Dr showed no interest in my photos and was prescribed antibiotics for 3 months. they helped but still the probs persisted so purchased over the counter mebendazole tablets. packet said one dose single 100mg pill every twelve months. researched online dose for cutaneouse parasite infections and recommended dose 400mg mebendazole daily for 3 consecutive days. Did this several weeks ago and everything has pretty much cleared up. no more weird poops, no more skin ulcers, no more bloating, no more diahorea or constipation. no more random allergic reactions. discussed with gp and still he refuses to accept I had a parasite problem. Good luck and don't stop trying till you clear up you're problem. I've read too many scientific journals that say many people are diagnosed with diseminated parasites on the autopsy table. Don't become one of them.

Thanks for telling us your experience. It's very comforting to know you're not alone. - And YES... I believe you have worms. I believe I do also. I believe it's coming from my tap water. ( (trying to find somewhere to get water tested.) I also have some samples of some if the different parasites. ( They are not in a solution, but stored safely. Plus I have pictures of live ones. They are SO creepy. Well, I don't think too many Doctors know anything about parasites! I had 1 stool test by my primary doctor, which he hesitated to do. It was negative. So I went to a dermatologist. She wouldn't give me the time of day. I told her of these lumps on my head that hurt. the weird things in my mouth, stool, urine $ skin. she looked over my skin in about 1 minute and said sarcastically , "You don't have parasite. Those are something of 3rd world countries! She proceeded to tell me about 3 times that I needed a psychiatrist. I left there feeling so small & humiliated. I went to 2 more specialists who did nothing for me. said they saw no signs. (Wow, you're good! - I thought.) No one had enough interest to look into my throat, ears, skin or run any tests. But... they all agreed I should see a shrink.

The next time Ii was my primary we got in an arguement because he wouldn't order anymore tests and I refused to go to a psych dr. So, he fired me. Right there. Told me to leave After 5 years as his patient. (Well, I did hurt his ego. I told him he needed to brush up on his education because "you apparently" know nothing about parasites!

Please let me know if you find a solution! (Sorry for rambling!)
