Stop Mirtazapine 15mg and and starting 20mg of Citalopram the next day. Is that wise ?

Hi all

Love this forum and know posts similar to this exist. However does anyone have any experience of stopping Mirtz suddenly and starting Cita?

Ive been on Cita before and it worked well enough when on it. Tried mirtz 15mg for sleep for 5 months but its not as good for general anxiety so want to go back the way.

I was surprised I was told not to taper off? and this advice is from two docs too... sounds a bit crazy to me and im nervous i get panic attacks which I hate ...

Has anyone here done this succesfully. does the cita negate any ill effects ?

    your best bet would be to call a pharmacist . They know medications and how to take them ivery well.
