Stopped Fluoxetine 16 days ago. When will my appetite return?

After only taking 4 tablets overs 7 days (80mg) to help ease a sore shoulder, I took a terrible reaction, serotonin syndrom. I have also had most of the withdrawl syptoms which are starting to pass... however, the loss of appetite just isn't returning quick enough for me now. This is obviously causing weight loss, lack of energy and wobbly legs after minimum movement. When did your appetite return after stopping?

    Hi

I have written to you before.

I have been on fluoxetine for nine weeks, I didnt start to eat properly for almost six weeks, in this time I lost two and a half stone, I also had wobbly legs and shaky hands, in the morning when I use the bathroom my legs are still shaky and wobbly, and my hands are shaky, I think it takes some time for the side effects to go, I couldnt sleep but I am sleeping better now, but feel very tired during the day.

Even though you only took four its enough to get into your system and cause the side effects.

Thank you, I just thought because most of the drug would be nearly out if my system then the side effects would be nearly gone too.

I'm off work just now, and couldn't imagine actually being able to do my job is the state I'm in.

I just need to remind myself that the side effects will go, the problem is, I just want to be better now x
