Hi everyone. I was prescribed Sertraline last week. took a 25mg dose on Friday morning and then a 25mg dose on Saturday morning. Exactly 12 hours later I had my first ever panic attack that lasted several hours. I decided to stop taking it. It is now day 3 that i havent taken it and im still feeling a little off. Body tremors and an extreme nervous feeling in my stomach. is this normal? when will this go away? i didnt expect to still have a reaction since i took such a small dose. my anxiety wasnt this bad before i took the medicine.

i had the same thing happen and i hope you feel better soon! But unfortunately for me the messed up stomach and more intense anxiety never went away after taking that crap! I took it longer than you did though i was on it for 8 weeks. My tremors and jitteriness took several months to lessen but never truly went away. My headaches lasted for a whole year after stopping it but they finally went away. Its like once i took that med it flipped a switch that made my anxiety and depression much more intense....everyone is different so you may start to feel better after a few weeks but i feel like it damaged me permanently 😦
