Stopping citalopram after 6 (10mg) doses

dr said i can come off celexa cause just too horrible of side effects - he and several pharmacists said no tapering needed but wanted to check experiences too. i took 10mg four days in a row, skipped two days and took two more doses of 10mg in a row

    Hi , i just took 10mg on alternate days for a week , and then stopped .

    I'd been taking then for 5 months .

    Its been 6 weeks now , with no ill affects .

    Hope thats okay for you too .

      thanks for sharing. its been about 48hrs and i seem ok. started buspar instead so not sure how that messes with it. i had zero appetite on celexa and still dont even after two days off and wasnt sure if you had issues like that ?

      zero appetite is very common with celexa , literally day 1 10mg i lost my appetite

      i had no appetite and lost weight so understand . buspar will hopefully help .

      my appetite returned .
