stopping sertraline

hi all ive been on sertraline for nearly two years 50mg about a week ago i ran out and was away so couldnt get to my chemist so i completley stopped them i got back a few days ago still felt fine and decided not to bother getting them and its been atound a week now i feel ok apart from havin a weird soar throat and a little headache now and then getting silly thoughts about corona virus so people who have came off sertraline what have been your symtoms i felt dizzy for a few days thats it xxxx

    Yes, you get flu-like symptoms at first. Some stomach issues, like growling, soft stool, etc. But please bear in mind that you should taper off slowly, and not do so on your own. I have gotten on/off this med so many times due to my own detriment so please work with somebody. My depression/anxiety always comes back, and getting on/off is hellacious each time, so please work with a PM.

      yes ive started feeling rather anxious today even though its day 9 im gonna go to the doctor ket them know ive stopped the meds see what they suggest sleeping is a no go right now so tiredddd x
