hello,I have had 3 strokes and then the vertigo started after the last stroke. I’m wondering is menieres due to my strokes or from my inner ear or both? I’m so frustrated and depressed that I cant plan anything without worrying I’m going to get vertigo. Anyone at all have that problem?

    are you sure you have meniere's disease, Chris, and not something else that might be connected to the strokes you've had?  There are dozens or reasons why one gets Vertigo and MD is only one of those reasons.  Have you been tested to determine cause of your vertigo?

      Hi, yes I’ve been tested I’ve been going to a vertigo specialist here. He said I probably have both kinds of vertigo. Cranial and vestibular. Inner ear and from strokes. I’m at the point of dispair. My ent is one of the best here and so is my nueologist. They both recommended going to the vertigo specialist but I’ve decided to do the exploratory surgery of my ear to see if the shunt is causing the inner ear problem. Take care, Chris
