Strange bump on inner thigh, is it a mole, and angioma or something else?

So I've had this dark red almost black bump on my thigh that appeared out of nowhere one day and slowly grew larger, it has since stopped growing in size, but about a week or so ago it dried out and I scratched it off leaving a faded mark on my leg. then it suddenly came back just this past week, back to it's original size and color. I don't know, if it's a strange mole, a cherry angioma, some sort of dermatitis. any help is appreciated before I spend a fortune getting a skin test at a dermatologist.

    May be something under the skin that is irritating the area. Possible ingrown hair underneath? have you been stung or bitten by any insect? I think you will have to see a dermatologist to get the answer.

      not that I'm aware of, it could be some sort of ingrown hair. maybe it's from my pants rubbing the area. yeah, I was afraid I'd have to go.

    Could be a new angioma which could be cauterised. Best get it checked out.
