Strange digestive symptoms after food poisoning

Posted , 5 users are following.

So this all started in december of 2017, when I had severe food posioning that put me into the hospital and left me feeling like garbage for an entire week. Ever since then, my digestive system hasn't been completely normal. I wake up with constant heartburn that lasts througout the day until I eat something substantial. This has come and gone over the months but gets worse with stress. Lately, I've felt some feeelings of nausea and sometimes very uncomfortable constipation. I've been all over the internet searching for some explanation for this, GERD, IBS, or an Ulcer, but I'm honestly not sure what this is or if it's completely due to stress, just looking for some insight.

Thanks in advance

Since everyone is different only an exam can pinpoint your problem. A consultation with a gastroenterologist could solve your problem.

Well i am not going to tell you my whole story... but food poisoning and then treatment left me so far with almost 5 months in bits.. gastritis.... etc.

What it seems is it was only trigger to underlaying issue that was waiting to explode.. at least in my case.. i still havent been diagnosed despite 2 blood tests...endoscopy..2 hospital specialist visits and endless gp visits...

Having said that... try green tea / turmeric tea...and do not use dr.Google or it will cause anxiety in long term...

    I wish you speedy recovery...

Hint: do not use alcohol drinks or smoke...

    Let it settle down...

In addition to having medical treatment for food poisoning I hope you also consulted an attorney for liability.

What did they they do when you were in hospital? How did they treat you? 🤔

All they did was give me anti-nausea meds and water on an IV, that's all
