Strange discharge

My discharge the last week has been a dark red color and the consistency is like slime sort of, it is very sticky and slimey. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

I'm assuming you are talking about your period. Dont worry, this sort of discharge is quite normal. As the lining of the uterus sheds to become your period discharge, some will be clots. This often happens at the end of the period when some of the blood has oxidised. Nothing to worry about.

Ashley, ah now I see why you were concerned. If this happen all the time between periods then you should see your doctor but if this is the first time dont be too alarmed...it may be an isolated incident and wont happen again. If you are experiencing severe cramping as well then definitely go to your doctor.

Is there any chance you could have conceived after your last period?

If your due period is exceptionally heavy then again see your doctor.

I had some cramping earlier this morning they lasted for like 10 minutes but was probably the worst cramp pain i've ever had. Also it is possible I have concieved after my last period. I did take a pregnancy test this morning right when I woke up but it did come back negative. Should I wait til after i miss my period, if it does not come to test again??

Ashley if your period is normal then this is probably a one-off so dont worry. If it doesnt arrive then yes do see your doctor. If your period is really painful or goes on for longer than normal then again see your doctor.
