Strange feeling of acid like symptoms

Hi I haven't been on for a while as my previous symptoms disappeared for a month or so but guess what, they've returned.

I was having sore throats, typically the left side. My PPI were changed which led to what I can only explain is acid flooding my throat. I couldn't breath, constantly coughing and clearing my throat.

The doc finally sent me for an endoscopy, which came back all clear, no esophagitis or abnormalities, no cell changes in the throat, yet I've been suffering with reflux for 11 years and sore throats for 2.

Obviously I was pleased but couldn't get my head why everything seemed ok. Anyway I decided to change my diet, drink alkaline water and everything settled down and had no issues.

However all of a sudden I'm now getting this weird acidic feeling that irritates my throat, again causing me to clear my throats a lot. It's a strange sensation, it's not like heartburn where I'd get chest pain, and there's nothing coming up into the throats as such, it my chest and throat just feel acidic and irratatid.

Has anyone experienced this before, if so how did you deal with it?

Thanks

Yes I'm on lansoprezole 30mg. When I don't take it I get really bad heartburn, whether I eat or not. But now I seem to get really acidic even when taking it, it's all very weird
