Strange feeling with my heart goes the past 2-3 days

Firstly I’ll make it known that I’ve sufferd from anxiety since around the age of 7 (I’m 19 now) and I’m aware of the symptoms anxiety can cause. Recently I was doing really well with anxiety and didn’t really notice it too much until about a week ago I started getting random panic attacks at home which is rare for me, then I noticed my heart feeling strange, It’s almost like I’m constantly aware of it beating and it feels like a heavy thud in my chest and throat, I know most people label it to palpitations but I’ve never expearienced palpitations during my time with anxiety, so this is pretty new to me, and even when I feel like I’m calm and distracted I can still feel that my heart doesn’t feel right, I went to my doctors on Monday and he thinks I’m terms of blood pressure and pulse everything is fine. So even when I convince myself there’s nothing to worry about I still don’t feel 100%. I struggle to sleep at night because as soon as I lay down my heart instantly feels uncomfortable. Is this just a phase or is it something I should be concerned about?

Hi, me to, I have all this and no amount of tests shows anything.  What I have noticed is mine is worse after eating a large meal and when I have just had something sugary or with coffee, I feel all jittery and my heart goes nuts.  Mine is always worse whilst sitting down, I notice my heart beat in my ears and its hard to sleep with the thudding etc. I am told mine is nothing to worry about, but it does worry me as I am sure it does you.  If you are in UK the GP will do an ECG there and then and this will help put your mind at rest.  Are you going through a stressful time at the minute, have you spoken to your family about this, you need to as they will worry if they find out you are suffering and have not told them.  Anxiety can cause strange things, I know I suffer badly with health anxiety and at 58 should be able to control things better but it can take over your life.  Talk to someone about how you feel, a problem shared and all that.  Take care
