Strange Headaches Lately

For a couple of months I've been having weird headaches. About a month ago, they were small, minor pains located in isolated spots. They only endured for about 2-5 seconds and then went away for a few minutes. Each time the spot on my head changed.

Now, my headaches are still short (2-5 seconds) and fairly minor in pain, however, they cause my temperature to spike. When I have my headache, my temperature feels intensely warmer and then slowly decreases until I have the next one. They continue every 10 or so minutes for an hour or few, but then they will stop for several hours as well. I'm not sure if it is something I should be worried about because I did have a bad car accident at the beginning of May. Although I was having more headaches than usual before the crash, I still worry that these might be linked to it. Anyone know what this might be?

When your temperature is rising you may not know it but it’s your anxiety that’s what mine  are like I’ve been getting this sharp pain at the back and middle of my right side of the head it’s like a shock that lasts about 5 seconds that comes and goes and when it does come my whole body gets really hot then I feel sick but it’s my anxiety because the pain is happening my body is making me scared of something

Your case sounds very complex. I can  almost guarantee that no neurologist is going to be about to help you. Besides doing scans they will probably just try to gives you one pill after another until they find something that may work.  And believe me that can be very frustrating  because I’ve been through it

My suggestion for you is to call the world renowned Michigan Head Pain and Neurogical institute  in Ann Arbor MI. They helped me so much back in 2012 with my cyclic headaches that come on every 5-7 years and last for months and then disappear. They have actually started again 2 weeks ago and I may be maki h another trip to Michigan as well. You can look them up online and also have a Facebook page.  You work with a team of doctors that do multidisciplinary care are your treatment is tackled from all different aspects at the same time.  It is usually done on an inpatient basis.  Please try to get some help for yourself. These doctors are very smart and it’s all they do and they think outside the box.
