Strange sensation in back of head

It isn't a huge issue, hence why I haven't visited a doctor yet, but I can't seem to find any info about it so it would be nice to hear possibilities. I have noticed that whenever I am really happy I get a weird tingling painful sensation on the right and left sides at the back of my head, (kind of above each ear.) I began to notice this when I first used hallucinogens such as LSD and MDMA 3/4 years ago. I haven't used either in over 1-2 years now but I still get the same feeling. It's especially strong when I meet a new person and we're having good conversation or when I'm speaking to friends about something interesting or laughing a lot with them. 9/10 times its when I am talking for prolonged periods. It only stops when the person leaves or we stop talking for a while. I've read stuff about it being anxiety related but I never feel anxious in these situations so I just find it quite strange that I feel the pain whenever I am considerably happy. The only way I can describe the sensation is the feeling you get when your leg/arm goes dead, except in the back of my head, yet I wouldn't quite call it numbness.

Thanks for any ideas!
