Strange Sensations on Sertraline 100mg

Hello everyone,

I do hope you are all well or on the way to finding peace.

So, my journey with Sertraline started about a year ago. After the initial nasty side effects ( it does pass ) l began to feel less anxious and fairly settled.

At the 6 month stage, l increased to 100mg which seemed about right for me.

Until recently, everything was plain sailing. Over the last couple of months, l have been experiencing an odd sensation located in the left side of my head.

Difficult to articulate but it feels like a dull numbness, almost like a coldness / brain freeze. At times there is rushes of adrenalin and an empty feeling - almost like there is a big space in my head and weirdly sensitive when l place my fingertips on that side . The sensation is accompanied with a 'rabbit in headlights' stare, very switched on and hyper vigilant and lasts for days. Strangely it doesn't feel like anxiety, it just feels cold and scary. I feel terrified.

Would love to know if anyone has gone through a similar experience??

Thank you and best wishes

David
