Strange Vaginal Discharge! PHOTOS!!

Hello there,

I have had some past experiences where my discharge is more clumpy than usual and sometimes they harden on my panties but I always thought it was pretty normal, as they come and go.

So I was reading up some articles about yeast infection because I had a strange itch around my area for a couple of days now - I'm not too sure if it's considered as a cottage-cheese like consistency, but I'd taken photos of the discharge that I just had.

It's whitish-grayish and lumpy but no odour. I did apply some pressure/friction towards the itching area to relieve some of the itch, but all symptoms aside, would any of you be able to tell me from the picture of the discharge itself if it seems like a yeast infection or is it something else?

NOTE: The clump in the photo is larger than usual. Some which I cotton-swabbed out from my vagina are way smaller in size.

Thank you!

And oh, some details I'd forgotten to add,

I'm not sexually active, and I have had instances of these since I was younger (I'm 26), way before I was active.

Good to note also that while I'd been having the itch and soreness for the past few days, the photo of the discharge was taken today (I was ill since yesterday - sore throat and flu so I'd taken some Advil and flu med).

But other than that, on slightly milder days, my discharge (after a while) in my inner labia can become small white clumpy pieces - not sure if my description is adequate!

White clumpy discharge with no odour is usually a sign of yeast infections.   And if you’re not sexually active /. Or were tested after last sexual encounter you can likely rule out stds.   Your best bet is to go to the doctor for a proper diagnosis and appropriate course of treatment.

    That’s definitely a yeast infection.

You can either treat it over the counter with Monistat or see your gyno

same, i went to the doctor and they said it was just a yeast infection. over the counter monistat should help, if it doesn't, i would start thinking about other possibilities.
