Strange vertigo like symptoms please help

Posted , 4 users are following.

I've had at least 8 maybe 10 attacks in the past 10 years:

It seems it can be at any random time : However it is about 1 or 2 a year (Intermittent)

I can feel it coming on, or beginning to start.

It reminds me of description I have heard from epileptics who say they know

when its about to happen and they lay down or prepare.

I can literally feel it beginning and then it hits full force..

First is the slightest of dizzy/disorientation (Vertigo) which only is a small delay,

but then it goes to the extreme world spinning terror.

My eyes also begin to exhibit rapid movements back and forth (Nystigmus)

I close my eyelids and feel them as they jump left to right, 2 to 4 times a second.

When I get up i cannot really control my legs or arms I stumble around mostly (Ataxia)

At that point, I then suddenly begin to sweat (Perspiration) and start to feel sick (Nausea),

I have to go to the bathroom immediately, but not to throw-up, but I have to

evacuate my bowels, sometimes I throw up too.

It's like at my stomach the peristalsis amplifies below my waist, but reverses above it.

This condition continues and slowly decays over a period of 24 to 36 hours.

After I come out of it, I am physically drained and mentally depressed or sluggish.

It takes up to 3 or 4 days to fully recover and be back to my normal self

Have you ever had medical attention to this problem? You could be suffering from dehydration and you have to drink more water and you have to have your diet of food checked by a dietition.

This sounds to me like a severe food intolerance. Is there some sort of food you can relate the attacks to?

If you have never seen a doctor about this I think you should.
