Strange white patches on my foreskin

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hello, my name is Bart. i am 16 years old and a virgin. i have noticed white patches on my foreskin recently (see pictures). They are not itchy or painful, i think its caused by chemical irritation. i suffer from phimosis and got very impatient so i started to pour bath soak and rubbed fragrant soap directly into the foreskin and penis tip. very stupid idea i know, but it lubricated it so i thought it worked. but then it turned red which i knew was irritation. but then started to turn white. They are very small patches and i hope they arent anything serious. please help.imageimage

Hi Bart you need to have it checked with your family doctor they may give you some steroid cream which would help. it's important you do this and have it checked don't be embarrassed or ashamed it's actually quite common to have phimosis at your age. Ask your parents for help they can arrange an appointment for you. your dad will understand and may even had it himself when he was younger. So don't leave it any longer it won't get better on it's own.

    Hi Bart,

Certainly irritated & probably a chemical burn as you where rubbing it at the time. It'll take a while to heal and any burn cream that deals with chemicals would be worth a try. But might be a doctor visit for such cream.

As for the phimosis, stick to stretching and accept it will take a few months.

Think you realise now, but that method wasn't a good idea.

DM me if you prefer to reply that way.

hello, i have been stretching for about 3 weeks now. i have made alot of progress. but the more i make the more afraid i am. i may be a hypochondriac but still. inside my foreskin there is more white skin, you can also see the yellowish white ring i was talking about. the front part is kind of peeling/flaky. do these pictures look like i have something wrong? because i think i do. and currently i cant see my gp since i have covid atm. so its gonna be about 2 weeks till i can. the ring on the outside and the whiteness are the things scaring me. there are also some tiny patches, same colour as the ring on the outside part of my foreskin. i cant tell if more are appearing or not.. image

Yay, I get to see your reply at last after it got stuck in moderation!

If I understand you correctly the ring is from your phimosis. With stretching, this will be less obvious.

Stretching takes months to complete, at least 6, so t will appear to slow down after the first month.

As for the whiteness, it can be from treatment. Have you used any ointment creams on it?

Also between the soap and covid, both can give you skin markings, so that will make it harder to say for sure. But yes it does look 'infected' & flaky.

Hi Bart as soon as you are clear of Covid you should see you doctor it needs to be checked out!! It looks like you have quite a bit of scarring and discolouration to you foreskin I think you could have lichen sclerosus? So you need to have it checked. They will probably start you on some steroid cream which will help with the phimosis and stretching. You foreskin is very tight still even with the progress you have made just be careful the foreskin doesn't get stuck behind you the glans Paraphimosis. Do let me know how you get on all the best.

      hello rob

i have not been using any ointments on it, i have a feeling i have lichen sclerosus. i forgot to mention on my actual gland there was what looked like a blister on both sides. it only appeared after the chemical stuff. it has almost gone on the left. completely gone on the right side.

      hello ivank

i am aware and terrified of paraphimosis at the moment, so im making sure not to pull fully behind the gland yet. i have a feeling it may be lichen sclerosus. but its not itchy. ill still make sure go get it check out the second i can. which hopefully will be next week.

Hi Bart yes I wouldn't pull it back to far yet you have quite a tight phimotic ring. it's always best with phimosis to go slowly with any stretching. We shouldn't jump to any conclusions about LS on till you have it checked with your doctor and see what they advise they may refer you to a dermatologist or urologist. although I do suspect LS in your case I know using soaps and shower gels can irritate the skin there. they will probably start you on some steroid cream this will help to soften your scars and loosen up your phimosis with some stretching. see how it goes then. In the meantime sit tight keep it clean if you had a emollient wash and warm water and moisturised afterwards.

      Hello Bart,

Thanks for your answer. That rules out an ointment been a cause.

To start, any updates on changes & improvements?

I would say that if it was LS, you would have noticed white lines before now. Good to hear the blisters have reduced. I suspect that you just rubbed too hard or too long that day.

      What about the white blotches?

How much does your foreskin retract when you're soft? If the whole way, then paraphimosis is unlikely to be an issue. Anyway, good you're aware of that possible situation.

The steroid creams Ivank mentions are useful for stretching, but not everyone wants to use them. So do some research on their use and possible side effects. Then you will be able to discuss their use with the doctor when you have an appointment. This will enable you to make your own mind up on whether you wish to use them.

Hello rob, sorry for the late reply. i no longer have covid so im going to visit my gp. it retracts slightly above the corona of glans. why are there white blotches on the foreskin. it doesnt look healthy to me. its hard to tell improvement since it doesnt look like its improving. the glans now are really wrinkly when the foreskin is unretracted. but not much else to talk about until its been checked.

      Hi Bart,

Agree the white blotches aren't good. Let's see what the Dr says on your visit.

The glands are a little wrinkly when soft to allow expansion. But not excessively if that's what you mean.

Your phimosis is the least severe form, so stretching will resolve it for you. Just don't rush it.
