Drink slippery Elm,  in powder form made with hot water to soothe the gut. Then mastic gum in celery (juice it) water. Celery very alkaline. Mastic I keep in powder for all and any tummy upsets.  Peppermint and/or fennel tea too. Its only common sense. Inflamed gut needs soothing. Mastic is squillion years old can be bought over the counter in informed continental.pharmacies. good luck gastritis is v uncomfortable

    Irene,

Strawberry is a toss up...what you don't want is any of the non digestable seeds to lodge in your intestines...and then cause havoc...thus flax, raspberry and similar are usually avoided. A Gastritis diet while "boring" is quite simple...but the importance is "what....how much..and when"....plus..prep and positioning.

I've kinda backed off strawberries, and when I buy some it's organics....here in the U.S. they are highly sprayed with pesticides...
