I have been in Sertraline for 3 days, the day I started taking them I started feeling sick after about three hours, is this normal or something else? I was told by my doctor I wouldn't feel side affects straights away. The sickness is whenever I swallow or eat but generally about midday up until 10pm.

Hi Hannah, yes you can get side effects straight away. See if you can get some anti sickness tablets from your doctor. I did and although they made me abit sleepy they helped with the sickness. Your just starting out so it will get worse before getting better but you will get better. Just stay strong and positive take each day as it comes. I've been on sertaline for 6weeks now and I'm starting to feel abit better now xxx
