Streamline week 5

Hello ,
Thought I would share how I'm doing as my change this week is really positive ,
Was on 50 mg for first four weeks , usual upset tummy , can't sleep , anxious sometimes more than before ,
Went to doctor and discussed higher dose , now I have been taking 50 mg first thing and 50 mg about 5pm and.....
Not really getting any upset tummy the last few days , sleeping really good , don't have any panic attacks !!!
I asked if it was OK to split the meds and my Doctor told me to try it and see , I didn't want to go straight to 100 mg and this is working very well for me
Something for you to consider , if anyone wants to know how I'm doing next week please feel free to get in touch ,

Hi Weenet,
Just been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing now? Did your side effects ease up yet? I know you were having some down and emotional days. I am now on day 8 of 50mg and have a couple days now like that.....

I have been very up and down the last few days. Anxiety seems to be worse the last few days and still getting other side effects. Uugh. What day of 50 mg are you on now?

Thanks for the info, I'm just starting 2nd week of sertraline (3rd week of propranolol) and I'm feeling a bit shaky. I knew it would take time but I really don't like feeling like this (obviously!) So it is good to know that there is a light Are you doing anything else in addition to taking meds, counseling, breathing tecniques, exercise, etc?

Hello,
I have done I talk counselling , then private CBT therapist , didn't Like that as felt a lot worse after each session so , bought a CBT workbook to go through weekly ,
I cut out alcohol completely as even a couple of beers made me sick ,
I used to exercise a couple of days , now I want to workout daily ,
The 2 split doses work well for me , don't see many people on here doing it , they go straight to 100mg ???

Thanks for that, I am seeing my doctor next week, if she increases the dose I will follow your example.
I am thinking about doing yoga, I'm not very fit so I thought I'd start gently.
I will also be signing up for some modules re: wellness so fingers crossed.
I read the posts on here when I am not feeling good, it reassures me 😀 It's good to read about positive results, I'm glad you are doing well.

Yes , try splitting the dose ,
I am really good today again ,
I don't have any signs of anxiety at all which is great but I am prepared for this to wear off
I know a lot has to do with no alcohol in October , so I spend that time doing gym work or reading my cbt workbook
