Hi everyone, i take 50 mg zoloft its been 10 weeks on it. I was during pretty good and then my stress level increased due to family reunion we are hosting and some other things. My question is , will there be days where you feel like your starting all over again. And will i get back to prior to the stress. Thank you.🙂

    Hi Brenda,

It’s so odd that you posted this because I posted literally the same thing a few days ago! I too have been on 50mg for 10 weeks and had some stressful situations come up in my life. It completely sent me back to square one. The stress has also weakened my immune system and I now have a cold on to of it all. 😭

So, to answer your question, in my experience stressful situations suck, BUT don’t lose track of all of the progress you’ve made! 😁

Thank you Christinia, I'm hoping that it levels out again. Have you had any improvement? As long as I know that it will level out , then that is one less stress factor. It's funny how are brain and body can turn on us in a blink of an eye. 🙄

I felt the same way after 9 weeks and went up to about 65 . I took a whole 50 and a 1/4 of another. Feel much better.

I also put lavender oil in my lotion and put it on my legs.

Thank you for replying, I was thinking maybe I should go up a touch but was trying to hold off until June. This drug is a complete mystery. One day I figure it out. 😁

    Hi Brenda!

I have been on Sertraline 9 months now and I can say yes , there are bad days too.

I started on 50 mg and I m now taking 150. There was a time a few months ago when I had more bad days than good ones and that meant that I had to increase my dose .

Also sertraline according to my doctor is a very good med but a slow one !

    Hope you feel better soon!

I seemed to lose alittle so far, not much of a appetite. I have to watch what i eat anyway because I have interstitial cystitis, 😎

My doctor considers 50mg to be a maintenance dose, you may need to increase it for a while. I would recommend you speak to your doctor.
