Stressed and worried right now

Yesterday my period came down early than usual on a weekday and usually it would come down on weekends, I'm really stressed out right now because I'm missing out on my workouts because of my heavy period flows. I never missed a week off from working out before, but I'm so worried on gaining weight and losing my goal weight because I'm missing a week of exercising. My body is so used to me working out every weekday and resting on weekends as part of my recovering days. I been training moderate to severe for the past 2 years with no slack offs, unless it's special holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, then I decide to take the one day off. Will I still be at my goal weight and not gain weight, even if I missed a week of working out? I don't eat a lot either on my period, because of my stomach feeling so bloated and full that I lose my appetite. I mostly feel tired during my time of month and have the lack of energy, to just not do anything.

missing one week of working out after working out hard for the past two years is not going to put a dent in your goal at all. Actually, the body does need a rest after strenuous exercising anyway. I know you are on a strict schedule but maybe this is a good thing for your body just to take a nice break. there’s not much you can do about it right now anyway so just relax and enjoy doing other things that aren’t so active for now.take care
