Stretch Marks on the upper back. Rapid height growth or routine?

I'm a sixteen years old student. I've noticed stretch marks with a red colour on my upper back.

I'd like to know if this is a consequence of height growth or if it's caused by my daily routine.

Due to the recent pandemic, I sit at the computer for ten hours a day to take classes, prior to it, I sat at around seven hours a day.

Could this routine be the principal cause of the stretch marks and, if not, could this routine worsen the growth-caused stretch marks?

As you are only sixteen you have probably had a growth spurt. Maybe looking worse as possibly you have developed a slouchy posture when sitting at the computer. If you think that is the case try to adopt a more upright sitting position. The marks will fade in time.

Strangely, stretch marks on the back are more common in young males than females. Girls often get them on their thighs.
