STRICTURE RECURRENCE AFTER 2 STAGE BULBAR URETHROPLASTY

Hi there, I just underwent a buccal mucosa graft urethroplasty, due to LS creating long urethral stricture, first part reconstruction went well, but due to other non LS stricture will have to replace more urethral tube skin. My real concern is in regards to the second stage urethroplasty which has the risk of more stricture recurrence over time

Had a chat with my surgeon, and looks like many patients prefer not to proceed with second stage reconstruction, due to higher risk of strictures particularly LS related recurring on the graft area that can also shrink. And at the end of the day second stage reconstruction is mainly for aesthetic reasons.
