You have no anxiety lucky you! It's only 7 days and imagine what the next 7 will be like when it effects your depression! Go you.

Hi Weenet,
It will improve. You are in the heart off the increase I would say..... I just upped to 50mg today. Chest fills kinda tight and a bit keyed up. Hoping side effects don't get to bad again....

I know its horrible isn't it? I think it takes about a week to build up to a steady state...

Hi Weenett,
I presume you mean you've worked your way up to 50mg from 25mg? If that's the case the increase in the dose can bring about the side effects again, and yes the ones you've got are normal, if very unpleasant. For the headaches try to use paracetamol without caffeine (as excess caffeine can make symptoms worse and adds to the risk of serotonin syndrome) and don't use NSAIDs such as ibuprofen as they can react with sertraline.
I didn't have vomiting, but I did have the headaches, depression and increased anxiety. The paracetamol helped for me, and as for the others i'm on week 3 now and the anxiety and depression is slightly better, that being said i'm having a rough day now but think I can work through it.
It's worth sticking with it to see how it goes, and in all likelyhood you'll improve as I am. It's a bloody rough ride for a number of weeks, but it does get better
